    Tätigkeitsbeschreibung ForschungDer Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt im Bereich der sozialwissenschaftlichen Methodenforschung. Sie war maßgeblich an der Entwicklung des Inhaltsanalyse-Programms TEXTPACK beteiligt. Zu den wichtigsten Themen ihrer Arbeit gehören Erhebung und Analyse offener Fragen in Umfragen und Methoden der (computerunterstützten) Text- und Inhaltsanalyse. Schwerpunkte sind: a) Offene Fragen im Interview, b) Software-Einsatzes bei qualitativen Inhaltsanalysen, c) Kategorienschemata und Codierprozesse, d) Verfahren des automatischen (dictionärbasierten) Codierens, e) die Co-Occurrence-Analyse bzw. Text Mining.
