Die GESIS-ZA - Scale of Charges and Fees – valid from 24.04.2007 - PDF version

The charges prices are subject to change without prior notice in line with changing circumstances. The GESIS-ZA scale of charges and fees is based on two principles:

1. Handling charges principle

  • The calculation of handling charges for the various products or services is based on the respective individual work involved and possible licence fees. That means for example, that the fees for the individual provision of files via FTP can be relatively lower than their compilation on CD-ROM.
  • To calculate the provision fees, the user status according to the "GESIS-ZA Regulations for Use" are taken into account.
  • Persons and institutes who made survey material available to the GESIS-ZA can access this material free of charge at any time.
  • Data depositors can access other archived material to about the same extent as their own contribution, as far as the regulations for use to not oppose to this.
  • Advisory and information services are free of charge, unless they exceed a certain level or are part of other, more extensive services.

2. Priority of supply

  • The structure of fees should always be adequate in a way that the supply with material and services for the social sciences is guaranteed at any time.

Structure of fees and charges as a rule- valid since June 22, 2006
