Dr Anke LIPINSKY is scientific associate at CEWS since 2006 and holds a PhD in Comparative Cultural Studies. Her research field lies in policy mapping and efficacy assessments in the field of gender and research, and analysis of gendered organizations. She evaluated gender equality plans of universities and research organisations in Europe, and coordinated two European projects during FP6, the project to create the European Platform of Women Scientists, and Encouragement to Advance – Training Seminars for Women Scientists. Anke is currently collaborates in the FP7- project INTEGER (Institutional Transformation for Effecting Gender Equality in Research). Therein she leads the evaluation team; and GenPORT: An Internet Portal for Sharing Knowledge and Inspiring Collaborative Action on Gender and Science. Anke carried out mappings of gender equality policies in public research in the EU and policy environment analysis (2012 -2014), and chaired an EC expert group with the mandate to carry out an ex-ante impact assessment study to assess effects of structural change policies in the European research area (2013). She is member of the Horizon2020 ad hoc expert group for SWAFS advising EC on the programme for the period 2016-2017. Her research focuses on impact assessments, evaluation and analysis of policy styles and their implementation in the field of gender and research in EU.
