ISSP - Studies from Eastern Europe Countries

Participating Countries and ISSP-Data from Eastern Europe

ISSP started 1985 with six participating countries. Since 1986 Hungary as the first country from Eastern Europe takes part in the annual survey. Poland (1987 and since 1991), Eastern Germany (since 1990), Russia, Slovenia (since 1991), Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia (1992), Czech Republic (since 1993), Slovakia (since 1996) and Latvia (since 1996) came up in the following years. At present more than a fourth of the countries joining the ISSP are from Eastern Europe.
The list of ISSP-Studies available contain all countries participating since 1985.
