Topics: Present and future economic situation; rise of prices in the next year; estimated development of the unemployment; assessment of the financial situation of the household; financial situation compared to the previous year and a year in future; expected unemployment in the next two years; satisfaction with the reform process and speed of reforms; preferred form of ownership of big industry, middle-size companies, service companies and farms; willingness to sacrifice; strong leadership vs. democracy; peace and order vs. freedom; democracy leads to chaos and anarchy; state control on economy; strong leader; skepticism about market economy; market economy and income disparities; fear concerning the future; free enterprise; profit from the market economy; longing old times; values such as self-actualization, leisure orientation, enjoyment of life, harmony within family, security, respect law and order, fairness in dealing with others; hard work and ambition, achievement of a high income, self-assertion, political engagement, tolerance; place of resident; income of the household;.

Research area: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia.  Multi-stage stratified random sample from the population 16 years old and older.

Oral survey with standardized questionnaire
