The following resources are available

European Election Studies (EES) (GESIS-ZA Data Service Eurobarometer)

These European Election studies each consist of pre- and post-election polls carried out as part of the Eurobarometer research programme. The "European Election Study Research Group" headed by Hermann Schmitt, Cees van der Eijk et al. has prepared integrated analysis data records for 1989 and 1994.

Election Studies Eastern Europe (GESIS-ZA Data Service Eastern Europe)

Main part of the data collection on elections and political attitudes from East European Countries are  the 40 archived data sets which have been collected  by the Unit on Institutions and Social Change of the Science Center Berlin (WZB) in the framework of project  "Free Elections, Political Parties and the Emergence of Competitive Party Systems in Eastern Europe" since 1991. Financed by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation the project deals with the first free elections and the emerging and formation process of democracy in so far 13 countries:

Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) (Homepage University of Michigan)

The Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) is a collaborative program of cross-national research among election study teams in over fifty states. This design allows researchers to conduct cross-level, as well as cross-national, analyses addressing the effects of electoral institutions on citizens' attitudes and behavior, the presence and nature of social and political cleavages, and the evaluation of democratic institutions across different political regimes.
