In 1990 and 1991 the

study was carried out by the
Academy of Sciences of
the GDR, Institute for Sociology and Social Policy (ISS), Berlin. After 1991
the study was carried on by the Social Science Research Institute (SFZ)
Berlin-Brandenburg.

Pupils interval study - KPI - Saxonian longitudinal study 1987 - 2000
The
pupil
interval study KPI "Development trends in the ideological attitudes and
activities in the FDJ" was carried out by the Central Institute for Youth Research
Leipzig from 1987 to 1989 in three waves. After 1990 the study was carried on in
11 waves as "Saxonian longitudinal study"
under direction of Prof. Förster (Forschungsstelle Sozialanalyse Leipzig
e.V.)
