Available ISSP data and media
Two different types of CD-ROMs are
available. The different CD types provide access to different ISSP modules. 1. A
cumulative CD-ROM is available which contains the complete
collection of data and documentation of the ISSP between 1985 and 1996 and for the
even years from 1998 onwards (1998, 2000, 2002, ...). 2. ISSP surveys from the
odd years from 1997 onwards (1997, 1999, 2001, ...) have been prepared by our
Spanish partners at ASEP/JDSystem, Madrid, and are available on
separate CD ROMs. For information on the
countries participating in each separate ISSP module and for online
access to the codebook and questionnaires, see the study profiles.

The ISSP modules listed below have been prepared by the GESIS-ZA according
to GESIS-ZA standards and with GESIS-ZA standard codebooks.

The data files are stored in SPSS format.
- Codebooks
Codebooks for all ISSP surveys are stored as PDF and
are searchable in full-text mode.
- Questionnaires In All Languages
Original (field) questionnaires of nearly all participating ISSP
countries for all ISSP modules are stored
as PDF.
They can be viewed and printed with the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader
(http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/).

National Replications of ISSP Surveys
The CD-ROM also contains data from different countries which used ISSP questionnaires (or at least parts of them)
outside the scheduled ISSP modules. These
data sets have not been integrated into the international
files for different reasons, but users interested in these data
have the opportunity to analyse them individually.

Separate CD-ROMs with ISSP 1997, 1999, 2001, or
2003
Data and documentation of the studies listed below have been integrated by the Spanish
ISSP partners at ASEP/JDS in co-operation with the Zentralarchiv.

Each international dataset and documentation are available on a
separate CD-ROM produced by ASEP/JDS in Madrid. These CD-ROMs
utilize the JD Survey Data Explorer (JDSystem) as the main data exploration utility.
They also include the integrated
international SPSS system or portable file, the original country specific data and the field questionnaires of all participating countries in
PDF format.
The price of each of these CD ROMs is Euro 50,--
