Data Access - Politbarometer

Terms and conditions

Politbarometer studies (data; documentation) are customized according to the regulations on usage and charges of the GESIS Archive for the Social Sciences.

Study holdings & retrieval

• Data Catalogue: search in the study descriptions of the archived studies
• Qbase: search for the question texts and variables in the Politbarometer codebooks

Data access

• Registration: User of data from both systems, ZACAT and DBK, need to sign in with user name (e-mail address) and password. New users have to register first. Your ZACAT account is valid for DBK sign in and vice versa.
• ZACAT  - free of charge online retrieval, analysis and data download
• DBK-Download: free of charge download of Politabrometer data sets and documentation released since 1977 via Button
• DBK- Order Politbarometer CD via "shopping cart" .
  The recent Politbarometer CD-Rom includes documentations and the data (SPSS portable file; *.por) of all released annual cumulations since 1977 and the time series with 80 variables since 1977 (ZA2391 - The partial cumulation of the Politbarometer West since 1977)
