Since more than ten years the Department collects and documents subject areas and institutional structures of the social scientific research in the transformation societies of Eastern Europe. It fosters east-west cooperation, the information and data transfer as well as international networks. The concern of the workshop is to discuss problems of the information supply of the social scientists in Eastern Europe and to make solution approaches
visible.
