¬ Expert meeting
Meeting of experts on the state of the art of the social sciences in
Eastern Europe (Preparatory conference).
October 16 -18, 2000 in Collegium Budapest
Ten years after the transformation to democracy in the countries of East Central
and Eastern Europe a stock taking of the social sciences in these countries
shall be untertaken. In preparation of a handbook the Collegium Budapest invited
15 social scientists from Eastern and Western Europe who discussed the draft of
this project. As basic material for the stock taking will serve information from
the IZ-databases „Social Science Research INstitutions in Eastern Europe –
INEastE“ and „Social Science Research PROjects in Eastern Europe –
PROEastE“.
