information for national and international events (conferences,
congresses, workshops, colloquia, symposia, etc.) which are relevant to
the areas of Social Science and Information Science as well as politically
interesting themes related to the transformation of the new federal states
of Germany and Eastern Europe. For important conferences not directly
related to this region and its transformation, which, however, may be
relevant for questions related to Eastern Europe, please see the GESIS-calendar
