MDA – Methods, Data, Analysis
Journal for Empirical Social Science Research
The journal focuses on survey methodology, that is, on publications for the collection, processing, documentation and analysis of survey data. Emphasis is on articles that add to the profession’s methodological and statistical knowledge as well as contributions that study the use of methods in empirical social research as they are implemented in practice, or those methods where exemplary use is made of a statistical procedure. A Scientific Advisory Board oversees the MDA.
The MDA is an open access journal, all articles are freely available as full texts. The research reports and reviews are also available on SSOAR (Social Science Open Access Repository) in a separate portal.
The MDA is published bi-annually (June, December). Registration to subscribe to MDA is possible via the mda website.
Editors: Christof Wolf (Mannheim, executive), Marek Fuchs (Darmstadt), Bärbel Knäuper (Montreal), Petra Stein (Duisburg-Essen).
