CD - ROM "WISO III": as of 2005 web version only!

For over a decade SOLIS and SOFIS have been offered together in a comprehensive CD-ROM edition for economists and social scientists. The edition provides an immense resource of  references to German-language and international scientific literature (articles in periodicals and in compilations, monographs and grey literature) as well as to contributions in the business press, and to research projects in the social sciences including economics.

As of 2005 the CD-ROM-Edition WISO, published three times yearly, has been replaced by the web version of the included databases, which is updated monthly: The entire contents of the former CD-ROM-Edition WISO can be searched - separately or in conjunction with other economic and social science databases - in the GBI wiso-net (in German) with an IP connection.

At most university locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland university members have free access to the wiso-net usually at the university library or another large scientific library.
