The ISSP Family and Changing Gender Roles module consists of three surveys from 1988, 1994 and  from 2002. The 2002 survey was a partial replication of the 1994 study and the 1994 survey a partial replication of the 1988 study.  

The ISSP Family and Changing Gender Roles module mainly deals with attitudes towards women’s employment, marriage, children and financial support, household management and partnership.
