Standard Demography

GESIS-ZUMA counsels its clients on how to use the demographic standards for surveys and polls in Germany. These standards present a joint recommendation by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Sozialwissenschaftlicher Institute (ASI), Arbeitskreis Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforschungsinstitute (ADM), and the Federal Statistical Office. The demographics are currently available in the 1999 version. A revised version for 2004 is planned.
