Social Indicators Information Service (ISI)
The Social Indicators Information Service is a contribution to regular social reporting. It is edited and published by the Social Indicators Research Centre at Gesis. It is used to publish the Cenre's own research results as well as contributions of other social scientists that work on different aspects of social reporting. The Social Indicators Information Service tries to reach both an academic as well as an interested non-academic public with or without a background in the social sciences. It is published twice a year and provides information on problems and tendencies of welfare development as well as on selected trends of social change. At the same time empirical data on current topics of the socio-political discourse are published. In addition to that the Social Indicators Information Service (ISI) keeps its readers up to date with activities and events from social indicators research and social reporting. It also provides a platform for all those who are interested in these topic areas.
Please note that ISI is published exclusively in German!
Since this is so all further pages on ISI are not available in English. You can find links to the German pages and pdf-files of all ISI-volumes starting with No. 1 (1989) on this page.
