Standard Demography and Regionalization

GESIS counsels its clients on how to use the demographic standards for surveys and polls in Germany. These standards present a joint recommendation by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Sozialwissenschaftlicher Institute (ASI), Arbeitskreis Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforschungsinstitute (ADM), and the Federal Statistical Office. 

Regionalization is the structuring and/or the segmentation of a geographical research unit according to its characteristic context properties. GESIS helps choose the characteristics best suited to the project, and helps document the use of instruments and variables.
