Guest Researchers at GML
The GML offers researchers the opportunity, to visit GESIS-ZUMA in Mannheim
to analyse the german microcensus and other microdata of official statistics
as well as the consumer panel data of market research.

The service mainly addresses to:
- researchers who are interested in "GML"-datafiles
which are not
available as Scientific Use Files
- researchers abroad who, due to legal reasons, do not have access to
Scientific Use Files, made available at the GML
Preconditions [top]
Preconditions to visit GESIS-ZUMA as a guest researcher:
- exercising scientific work at an independent research institute
- for factually anonymized data: signing a "Special Obligation"
for data protection according to §16(7)
BStatG
- every guest researcher is sworn to secrecy by GESIS-ZUMA
