With their signature, data recipients oblige themselves to hold to the following terms and conditions once they receive the 1995 Consumer Panel data:

1. Data recipients and all other persons granted access to this data are obligated to make no attempts to manipulate the data in such a manner that would permit individuals or households to be identified. Data also may not be passed on to or made accessible to any persons other than the immediate co-workers of the data recipient. This obligation exists for modified data as well.
2. Data may only be utilized in the data recipients' own research and for the purpose of university teaching by the data recipient. Commercial use of the data is prohibited.
3. The data use fee is 50 Euro. If the data is ordered before 31 December 2001, the fee also pays for Special Issue 7 of the ZUMA News. This fee, with my permission, will be debited from my account.
4. The following reference is to be used in publications where the results from analyses using 1995 Consumer Panel data are cited:

The data used in this publication derive from the ZUMA subsample of the1995 ConsumerScan Household Panel (GfK, Nürnberg) dataset, and were made available by ZUMA. The ZUMA dataset includes all households for which consumption data were collected throughout 1995.
