ISSP Demographics Group

There are defined sets of obligatory and optional background variables for every ISSP module. In addition, certain background variables may be required for a particular study.

The demographics group is currently  co-ordinated jointly by Michael Braun at GESIS-ZUMA and Janet Harkness. The nine member countries are Germany, Mexico, Norway, the Philippines, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, plus the Zentralarchiv.
