ISSP Methods Research Groups

There are currently four methods research groups in the ISSP. GESIS-ZUMA co-ordinates  three of these.

• Demographics
• Translation
• Questionnaire Design
• Non-response

A modes methods group set up in 1995 resulted in the introduction of a modes variable to ISSP data sets. The group also conducted an international modes experiment. Results appeared in a book chapter written by Knut Kalgraff Skjåk and Janet Harkness.
