Back to Life Domains Overview

Total Life Situation

According to the conceptual framework of the European System of Social Indicators, all measurement dimensions and indicators of the life domain 'Total Life Situation' refer to one of six major dimensions of welfare development or two dimensions of general social change:

Development of indicators for this life domain is not completed yet. Work on developing time series for additional indicators is still going on.

The composite index presented as a summary measure of the quality of objective living conditions (see below O1111) is considered to be a first proposal. Comments are welcome! Mail to: heinz-herbert.noll[at]gesis.org
