European System of Social Indicators

In its initial phase, research on developing the European System of Social Indicators  was funded by the European Commission for a duration of 3 years as a subproject of the "EuReporting-Project"  ("Towards a European System of Social Reporting and Welfare Measurement") within the 4th Framework TSER-Programme. The EuReporting-Project included scholars from 13 European countries. As part of this project, the theoretical framework as well as the basic architecture of the European System of Social Indicators has been developed. The results of the EuReporting project have been documented in the EuReporting Working-Paper series.
