The Social Indicators Information Service (ISI) is a seminal contribution to social indicators research published by Social Indicators Research Centre at GESIS-ZUMA. The Social Indicators Information Service is published in German.

The Data Report edited by the Federal Statistical Office in cooperation with the WZB and former ZUMA presents results from official statistics and empirical social research. It is a biannual social report that had been published for the first time in 1983.  Since then it provides a comprehensive review of the economic and social situation in the Federal Republic of Germany.

This choice of 89 indicators taken from the 14 life domains of the indicator system outlines a condensed and clear picture of social developments in the Federal Republic of Germany. The time series data for the indicators selected were newly edited and supplemented by additional graphs and we will give preference to the key indicators during future updates of the data.

This volume published as part of the series  'Comparative Charting of Social Change' examines different aspects of inequality in developed societies  in a new comparative perspective, covering five national societies – Canada, France, Germany, Spain, and the United States.

Time series data on welfare development in the FRG

This compilation of data presents results from the Welfare Surveys 1978 to 1998. These results cover a total of 12 topic areas using standardised tables. The tables comprise elaborate information on differences in the level and the development of welfare for different subpopulations.

The Digital Information System Social Indicators offers an easy way to access the almost 400 indicators and more than 3000 time series of the German System of Social Indicators. DISI is published as a bilingual edition in German and English.

('About a Society Growing Together')
Ten years after German reunification the authors summarise the course and the results of this historically unique process of a society growing together. The book is published in German.
