Directions and City Map
Arrival by train
Once you have arrived at the main train station in Mannheim, you can
reach ZUMA either on foot or by tram.
a) on foot (about 10 minutes): when you emerge from the train station, bear left until you
reach the castle (e.g., Schloß). Then cross the Bismarckstraße
road. Find the tram stop Schloß and at the next street take a left
until you reach the intersection. You should see the B2 block and this is
where ZUMA is located.
b) by tram: first look at the tram map.
There you can see which tram line to take; we recommend either the 1 or
the 5. You are heading for the Schloß stop from which you should
take the road that lies between the A1and the B1 blocks. You will find
ZUMA at the next intersection.
Arrival by plane
(Frankfurt Airport)
a) by airport bus: take the airport bus from Frankfurt to Mannheim. The
Mannheim stop can be seen on the map above. Once you arrive, proceed
either by foot or tram from the main train station toward the castle (see
directions above).
b) by train: take the train from Frankfurt to Mannheim, then proceed by
tram toward the castle (see directions above).
Arrival by car
If you are coming either from the north or the south (on the A5 or A6
highway/Autobahn), take the Mannheim-Mitte
exit. At the water tower, turn left toward the Hauptbahnhof. Stay
in the right lane and follow the signs for Schloß. Find a parking
space (check the signs for parking regulations) and then follow the map
above.
If you are arriving from the west (on the A6 or A61), it is best to
follow the signs for Ludwigshafen-Mitte (Careful! Do NOT take Ludwigshafen-Nord!)
on the A650 route. Do not turn off this route, but stay on it as it
crosses the Rhein river until you reach Mannheim. Make sure you are in the
left lane! After the bridge, turn left and at the next street, turn right
and follow the signs for Schloß. Once you have reached it, you can
attempt to find a parking space (check the signs for parking regulations)
and then follow the map above.
You can find a city map here.
