Vita

I am a Senior Researcher at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. Prior to joining GESIS, I was employed as a Project Manager for political polls and surveys at Ipsos, an international renowned market research company. I received my M.A. and Dr. phil. in political science from the University of Mainz, Germany. My main areas of expertise include political attitudes and voting behavior, as well as survey methodology. More specifically, my research agenda focuses on the cognitive and emotional underpinnings of attitudes about candidates, parties and complex policy issues. Current research projects involve public attitudes toward market economy and free trade.
