| activities: | CASA is an association of scientists in social anthropology and related disciplines.
The aim of the association is to promote the development of social anthropology, to represent Czech social anthropology, to make wider public familiar with results of social anthropology research, to create links among social anthropologists and professionals in related
fields, to create links among social anthropological institutions in the Czech
Republic and abroad.
Main activites of CASA: running discussion forum on the website; launching publication series CARGO in co-operation with SLON (Sociological publishing house); monthly co-organizing Gellnerian Seminar together with Masaryk Sociological Association; preparing conferences and general assemblies of the association.
CASA includes 36 registered members (2009). |
