| activities: | The Association for International Affairs (AMO) is a Czech non-governmental organization whose aim is to conduct research and educational programs in the field of international affairs and foreign policy. The primary regional focus is on the Czech Republic and Europe. Research: The Research Center at the Association for International Affairs (AMO) was established in 2003 to coordinate AMO's research activities. The Research Center aims at identifying and researching issues regarding the foreign policy of the Czech Republic and its position in today's world. The Center provides independent expert analysis, supports discussion at different levels and provides possible solutions for these issues. It has been established with support of Open Society Fund Prague and CEE Trust. Education: AMO's primary educational program is the Prague Model United Nations (PMUN), an educational program for Czech high school students. Services: The Research Center organizes various public and internal round tables, seminars, conferences and a number of other events. Services: The Research Center offers services for public administration, the media, the NGO sector and the business community in the areas of foreign policy, international relations and analyses the situation in specific countries and regions. |
