Social Science Award (07.12.2008)

On December 4th the British economist Anthony Atkinson received the A.SK Social Science Award from the WZB Social Science Center Berlin for his work on social inequality. More on that here.[more]

Re-launch vascoda (28.11.2008)

The test phase of SOWIPORT was ended on the 26th of November with the re-launch of vascoda, the Internet portal for scientific information. Having “Social Sciences at a Glance” as its motto, SOWIPORT is available for searches in 14 databases also offering additional social science information; more information on vascoda can be found at www.vascoda.de.
