We can help: Tell us your topic and ideas of the required information and we will attempt to retrieve this information for you. The SOWIPORT partners do research upon request in the SOWIPORT databases. We provide you with appropriate literature references, descriptions of interesting reseach projects and/or other helpful information.

DZI - German Information Center for Social Issues
For your individual queries, we offer searches in the SOWIPORT-database “DZI SoLit” which contains references in the fields of social work, social pedagogics, welfare work, as well as the respective basic sciences and related fields.
- The literature references include monographs, journal articles and gray literature from Germany and abroad.
- The referenced literature is available in the DZI and can be ordered through them via their interlibrary lending system or printed as a photocopy.
- Give us your detailed research topic and we will immediately provide the requisite literature references.
- Simply fill out the Order form and send it along via post or Fax to the DZI-Library!

Our services:
- We do searches upon request, simply provide us with the topic or objective.
- Determine the special search criteria and/or particular type of information service you require and we will be happy to fulfill your request.
- Of course you may also specify which databases to search, the appropriate time period for the information to refer to and in which language the original documents are written in.
- A search logic will be developed specifically matched to your request and adapted to your needs.
- We work closely with you to match the research to your budget requirements prior to doing the search.
- Literature and research references or other relvant information will be delivered per email or post, according to your preference.

University and City Library Cologne/Cologne Library Service for Literature Research (KöBes)
Not enough time to familiarize yourself with all the search possibilities of subject-specific databases? We are more than happy to provide literature information from the more than 250 databases of the Universtiy and City Library of Cologne (USB).
- We compile the bibliographic information and short descriptions (normally available) on a topic for you.
- You receive the results within 5 working days or within 2 working days with our express service by email or post.
- KöBes can also be used without having a library card from USB Cologne.
- Simply fill out the Order form and send to USB Cologne via post or email.
