Since the 1960s immigrants are living side by side with the local population in Germany. The so called "Wirtschaftswunder" attracted a lot of foreign workers to move to Germany and settle down. But the immigrants didn't only appear as jobholders; many of them established their own business and made an appearance as employers.
This edition of "Research Special" collects under the title "Between Kebab express and high-tech business: Foreign employers in Germany" current research projects and literature references. They stern from the GESIS-databases SOLIS and SOFIS and the international CSA-databases.
