Wenn am 20. August die dreitägige Veranstaltung „10th European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education” in Dublin startet, sind auch Kolleginnen des CEWS vor Ort: Dr. Anke Lipinsky und Dr. Nina Steinweg halten Vorträge zu den Themen „Evaluation of gender equality policy – its potential impact in times of impact orientation and monitoring“ sowie „Rhetorical Modernisation or Policy Revolution? – Diversity Legislation in Higher Education in Germany“. Dr. Andrea Löther informiert in ihrem Vortrag „Does it work?” über die Wirkungsevaluation des Professorinnenprogramms. Dr. Anke Lipinsky ist zudem Mitglied des internationalen Beirats der Konferenz.
Die Konferenzreihe „European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education“ findet seit 1998 alle zwei Jahre in verschiedenen europäischen Städten statt und bringt internationale Forschende, Gleichstellungsakteur*innen, Politikgestaltende sowie Wissenschaftsmanager*innen aus diesem Themenfeld zusammen.

CEWS at 10th European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education in Dublin
CEWS colleagues will be in Dublin on August 20 for the 10th European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education. During the 3-day-long event CEWS’ Dr. Anke Lipinsky und Dr. Nina Steinweg will speak on “Evaluation of gender equality policy – its potential impact in times of impact orientation and monitoring” as well as “Rhetorical Modernisation or Policy Revolution? – Diversity Legislation in Higher Education in Germany”. Dr. Andrea Löther’s session is titled “Does it work? Impact evaluation of the German ‘Women Professors Programme’”. On top of this, Dr. Anke Lipinsky is a member of the conference’s International Scientific Committee.
The European conference series on Gender Equality in Higher Education takes place every other year in a different European city. Since 1998, the conference series has convened gender equality practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and administrators from Europe and beyond.
