The goal of the workshop is to discuss how to best apply innovative qualitative research methods and intersectional analyses to women’s and gender history in Southeast Europe with doctoral students whose projects are related to these themes, and more senior scholars who work on gender in SEE. Moreover, the doctoral workshop offers the opportunity to establish a collaborative network of scholars
researching in this field.
The workshop is organized by Rory Archer (Graz/Vienna), Chiara Bonfiglioli (Graz/Cork), Drivalda Delia (Graz/Regensburg) and Rachel Trode (Graz/EUIFlorence). The team will be joined by an additional 4-5 researchers of gender in SEE who will participate in the workshop as instructors.
