EPWS Annual Conference 2022: Gender, intersectionality, and inclusion in the EU research context

The conference will focus on the concept of intersectionality and its meaning in the framework of gender equality in European research. Two sessions with key lectures from acknowledged experts in the field, including a forum for EPWS member associations and a roundtable on the challenges for migrant and refugee women scientists will offer the opportunity to explore, discuss and share views to foster a more inclusive research culture. In recognition of her services and her dedication to EPWS and to the cause of girls and women in science, the Annual Conference will be dedicated to the memory of Prof. Claudine Hermann, former EPWS President and nominated Honorary President in 2021, who passed away on 17 July 2021.
