The WiDS initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. It started as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015. Five years later, WiDS is a global movement that includes a number of worldwide initiatives. This year’s conference will include:
- Main stage: keynotes, technical talks, and panel discussions.
- Networking: throughout the conference, including designated sessions, by region
- Education track: data science workshops, taught by distinguished instructors
- Expo: to explore career opportunities
