This 1,5-day academic workshop focuses on the topic of policy making with a gender perspective. The participants will learn about gender mainstreaming and gender responsive policy making within the context of several policy areas such as media, health, budgeting strategies, development aid, and peace and security.
The overall theme of this workshop is centered on the importance of a gender perspective when designing and implementing public policies. The aim is to allow the participants to understand the importance of gender within different contexts, and also in a multilayered approach.
