This workshop on women’s suffrage movements at the Centre for British Studies includes presentations on the circulation of feminist ideas in both the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as on novels and dramas that focus on women’s suffrage movements. Dr. Helen Sunderland, historian at the University of Oxford, will deliver a keynote lecture on topic of “Schoolgirls and Women’s Suffrage in Late Victorian and Edwardian England.”
