Inhalt: "Als Replik auf den Beitrag von Heiner Drerup aus der ZfPäd 6/97 wird zunächst aufgezeigt, daß die von Drerup vorgenommene Trennung von 'Bewegungsdikurs' und wissenschaftlichem Diskurs nicht durchhaltbar und seine Kritik an der bisherigen Koedukationsdebatte nicht weiterführend ist. Da Drerup sogar unkritisch die Forderung nach Trennung der Geschlechter aufnimmt, wird anhand einer Untersuchung zur Koedukation aus Sicht von Mädchen und Jungen die Ambivalenz getrennter Schulen verdeutlicht." Inhalt: "In response to Heiner Drerup's article in ZfPäd 6/97 it is shown that the way Drerup separates a 'movement's dialogue' from a scientific dialogue is not acceptable and his critique of the coeducational debate does not bring new arguments. Since Drerup is in favor of separating girls and boys - without reflecting any criterial arguments to that - results from a study asking girl's and boy's experiences with coeducation or separation are presented showing how ambivalent separated schools are." Inhalt: "Ausgangspunkt der Betrachtung ist der allgemeine Konsens, daß die Informationstechnologie als Moment einer neuen Phase der gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung große Bedeutung für die Allgemeinbildung hat. An den vorliegenden Konzepten für eine entsprechende Grundbildung wird das Technikverständnis kritisiert, dem ein Ansatz gegenüber gestellt wird, der in historischer Herangehensweise die technische Entwicklung als jeweiligen Ausdruck menschlicher Arbeit begreift. Bezogen auf die Informationstechnologie läßt sich daraus ein neuer Integrationspunkt für allgemeinbildende Inhalte gewinnen. An den Beispielen der Schrift- wie der Rechenentwicklung wird versucht, dies exemplarisch deutlich zu machen. Abschließend wird zur Notwendigkeit des Computereinsatzes in der Schule Stellung genommen und eine Entmystifizierung des Computers - besonders als Interesse und Bedürfnis von Mädchen - als dringend erforderlich benannt." Inhalt: "It is generally accepted that information technology as a new stage in the development of modern society is of great significance for general education. The author criticizes the conception of technology apparent in the already existing concepts for basic computer-science courses and argues in favor of a historical approach, which would allow to conceive technological development as the specific product of human labor. With regard to information technology, this approach would permit the integration of general-education subjects; this is shown by taking the development of both arithmetic and writing as an example. In conclusion, the author comments on the need for computer use in the classroom and calls for a demystification of the computer in order to make it easier for students - and especially for girls - to deal with this new technology."
