Statistical Correspondents for the Helsinki Group (Dr. Andrea Löther). On behalf of the BMBF - Federal Ministry of Education and Research, CEWS is the national representative for this EU committee. The goal of the group is to collect data on the situation of women in science, European harmonization of national data surveys, and the development of indicators for individual areas. Through the active collaboration of the statistical correspondents CEWS has become the national center for gender-based statistics in the area of teaching and research. CEWS is often requested to supply information for requests by ministries, those responsible for women’s and equal opportunity, as well as journalists regarding statistics on the situation of women in science, including in international comparisons.

WHEM Women in Higher Education Management Network.WHEM is an international feminist research consortium led by Professor Kate White, Federation University Australia. Dr. Anke Lipinsky joined the consortium in 2019.
Workgroup Women in Research Centres - Arbeitskreis Frauen in den Forschungszentren AKFiFz (Dr. Nina Steinweg). In this official committee of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers, those responsible for gender equality among the fifteen research centers of the Helmholtz Association have collectively decided to bundle together the representation of the interests of women scientists in non-university research institutions to be able to act as an advisory group to the board.
