Research Data On Gender Relations In Academia
On this page, you will find search options at GESIS and other data-providing institutions as well as basic information on data archiving.
Numerous studies on gender relations and gender equality policy in academia regularly produce research data that could be useful for a secondary analysis and for other research topics. At present, only a small amount of research data that was explicitly collected on gender relations in academia is archived. Long-term surveys such as graduate studies or social surveys on students are also available to be used in gender-specific studies.
CEWS would like to support researchers in their search for research data and at the same time motivate them to archive data from their own projects and thus make them accessible to other researchers.
Data from CEWS projects
Here you will find an overview of data from projects that have been processed at CEWS.
Intersectional access (in German)
An overview shows which inequality categories are collected in official data from higher education statistics and in larger surveys from higher education research.
Other data-providing institutions
Which other institutions collect research data on higher education and science research that can be used for studies with a gender perspective?
