Lena Weber, Andrea Löther und Mazlum Karataş presented initial results from the project on the prevalence of gender equality plans at research-performing organizations in Europe and the impact of the Horizon Europe eligibility criteria was discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the development of meaningful indicators for effective gender equality monitoring and the use of new data collection methods such as web crawling and web scraping and automated tools for data analysis, like large language models. Finally, the participants discussed how the insights gained can be integrated into EU processes in order to anchor them permanently and sustainably.
