CEWS has a new team member: Welcome Lara Schmitz!

Categories: CEWS Aktuell

Lara joined our team in January 2025 as a researcher in the SIGIS project. The project examines the structural and cultural-normative organizational and working conditions at universities for the intersectional gender inequalities they contain. Lara is now looking forward to using the SIGIS project to create a database on organizational and working conditions at universities for the intersectional gender inequalities they contain. She says: “Databases like these are an important basis for future decisions and approaches to change for a gender-equitable working and organizational culture.”

Lara has extensive experience: For the past 3.5 years, she worked as a project manager at the infas Institute for Applied Social Science. There she led panel studies in the field of family research, such as the KiBS and AIDA studies of the German Youth Institute. She also gained valuable insights during internships, including at UN Women Germany.

We are delighted to have Lara on the team and to be working with her on the SIGIS project!
