At its annual conference on November 15, 2024, the Women’s and Gender Studies Network NRW focused on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Gender”. The conference combined scientific, technical, and artistic perspectives with the aim of identifying pathways to more gender equality in the future with AI.
Nina Steinweg (Senior researcher at CEWS) moderated the second panel, which highlighted practical applications of AI in medicine and in educational consulting. The discussion examined how AI can contribute to gender-equitable medicine and what gender-critical reflections are necessary in digital counseling learning in order to recognize and question existing gender norms.
