On Monday, 20.01.25, the kick-off of the BMBF (Ministry of Education and Research)-funded project GendAReview - Gender Research Perspectives on Science and Academia took place. The scientific advisory board of the project, consisting of twelve renowned researchers from the fields of gender studies as well as higher education and science studies, such as from the German Center for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW), the Institute for Higher Education Research (HoF) and the INCHER (International Center for Higher Education Research), were present. In the lively online discussion, the research questions of the project, the choice of data and the formation of categories for scoping reviews were discussed in more detail. The kick-off event marked the start of the project team's collaboration with the experts who will be supporting the research in 2025.
