CEWS creates interactive spaces thus enabling an exchange between gender research and practice. On the one hand, this facilitates the transfer of (expert) knowledge from practice into research. On the other hand, the goal is to transfer scientific knowledge into practice. This exchange intends to generate new perspectives and research questions.
CEWS offers interactive formats – both digital and offline:
- workshops (e.g. during the KEG – the Conference of Women’s and Gender Studies Institution in the German-Speaking World)
- Equality Labs (meetings of equality experts, officers and gender researchers in order to (further) develop standards, exchange ideas and network)
- CEWS colloquium
- expert discussions
CEWS conveys scientific expertise into practice, e.g. through a colloquium as part of the GESIS Lecture Series and expert talks for gender equality actors and decision-makers in scientific organizations, universities and research institutions. CEWS supports the dialogue between research and practice by moderating panel discussions and workshops.
