Project description:
The objective of the project is to evaluate the gender equality policy of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The evaluation analyses objectives and strategies of the gender equality policy, structures and the overall concept of gender equality activities. By analyzing the institutional embedding, personnel and financial ressources, actors and communication structures, the evaluation focuses on the structures of gender equality policies.
The study combines a self-evaluation and an external evaluation by outsiders. Methods used: self-evaluation report, a site visit with individual and group interviews, document analysis. The evaluation report presents the results, including recommendations for action. A final workshop will discuss the results and lessons learned.
