/femconsult is offered by the Center of Excellence Women and Science (CEWS). CEWS aims to promote the implementation of gender equality in science and research in Germany. /femconsult is Europe's largest recruitment portal for women in academia. The database provides up-to-date scientific profiles of more than 3,000 women from all professional fields and disciplines.

Via /femconsult CEWS offers universities, research institutions and ministries an effective instrument for recruiting women in academia for leadership positions as well as advisory boards and decision making committees. Women gain increased visibility by registering their own, individual profiles in the /femconsult database.

Please note that the English homepage can not be used to the same extent as the German one. The search function and the information on gender equitable personnel management and career promotion in academia are only available in German. However, you can register at /femconsult with the support of an English manual (327 kB).
