Activating JavaScript and cookies in the Internet Explorer: Tools/Internet Options/ Security/Internet. If there is a slider, set it to Medium-high and save this setting with Apply. If you do not find the slider, click on the Default Level button, then set the slider to Medium-high and press OK.

/femconsult is used to address job advertisements und inquiries specifically to women in academia who might be interested. Through the research function (only via the German website), you can search our database for women in academia with the necessary qualifications. If your research is successful, upload your job advertisement documents to our system and send them directly to the scientists with a short message.
It isn't possible to simply publish advertisements in /femconsult, as is usual in job boards.
If you are not able to find a suitable woman scientist in our database, we recommend distributing your job advertisement or inquiry via specific networks. We have compiled the most important networks for you here (only available in German). Women who are PostDocs, habilitated women in academia and PhD students whose doctoral thesis is imminent can register at /femconsult. Women from artistic and creative studies can also register without a PhD, because in these subjects a PhD is not a compulsory prerequisite for teaching.

You only receive job advertisements from universities and non-university research organisations which would like to actively recruit women and have researched women in academia with suitable qualifications in /femconsult. If you receive a job advertisement or inquiries, you can be sure that your scientific profile is suitable for the position and that your application is welcome.
