Digital Behavioral Data for ALLBUS: ALLBUS 2023 – DBD Add-On published!

The ALLBUS 2023 - DBD Add-On enables the linking and joint analysis of ALLBUS survey data with digital behavioral data. After recruitment into the GESIS Panel Digital Behavioral Sample (GP.dbd), 104 respondents from the ALLBUS study (the self-administered modes) additionally took part in a web tracking study. In this context, the websites visited and their content were recorded with the consent of the participants using a browser plug-in. Classification services were used to classify the content of the more than 300,000 website visits at domain level. The aggregated data on browsing behavior can be linked to and thus analysed in combination with both the full and compact versions of the ALLBUS survey data (full version: ZA8830, compact version ZA8831).
